I’m like. OBSESSED with shy/overly flirty ships which Chuck and Helen fit to a T in the Avenger Era especially. Yeah there are moments when it seems like he’s being mean or weirded out but there are other times when he’s really sweet/flirty back I’m like !!!!!!

I find it hilarious that even CEC Entertainment can’t decide if they’re a couple or not. Like in the Tux era they sang sooo many love duets but they always ended them with “I’m glad we’re BEST FRIENDS”. And “It’s A Date” from 2015 totally memes on the confusion.

In the end I’m glad they’ve moved away from the romantic vibes officially just so Helen has more room to grow as a character (slightly, but every little bit helps). But I live for every tiny romantic moment they throw in. I like to believe that Chuck and Helen are together in universe, but that they’re keeping their relationship out of the public eye for now.
